Group Description

The Stafford I Bible Study group was started in 1996 and has been meeting regularly every other Thursday. Meetings are hosted by a member family.  At present, we are composed of twelve families, mostly in the Southwest area.  We use textbooks by Christian authors like Beth Moore and Henry Blackaby as study guide, but the Bible is the central source of our learning. We take turns leading topical discussion regarding important issues in life.

Group Life

To balance our spiritual life, aside from the regular Bible discussions, we have prayer time, family night and children’s night. We also incorporate “visitation” in our monthly schedule. We choose a family, usually not a member/attendee of the satellite group, to visit, where we can share the Word of God, pray for and fellowship with. We have witnessed how God blessed this ministry to reach out to families and individuals during their time of need. All these for His glory and kingdom and we pray that we be effective, selfless instruments.

Vision

To be a missional group of families and individuals, following in faith, God’s Great Commission, as found in Matthew 28:18-20.
