“”Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.”
– Ephesians 5:31-32

The ultimate purpose of marriage is to reflect God’s image.

We believe that marriage reflects to the world God’s promise to be with us and to redeem us. At First Philippine Baptist Church, newlyweds, young, median or senior married couples grow through Bible study, discipleship development, friendship, fellowship and ministry – primarily utilizing “The Art Of Marriage” series as a tool for growth.

About “The Art Of Marriage”

Strengthening marriages in a discipleship setting

Making marriage work is a divinely inspired art form. That’s why FamilyLife® has been helping couples understand God’s plan for relationships for over 35 years. In The Art of Marriage video event we wove together expert interviews, real-life stories, humorous vignettes, man-on-the-street interviews, and much more to portray both the challenges and the beauty of God’s design.

Now the same great content is available in a six-session format in a small-group setting. Participants of the study interact with one another in the small group, and then interact as a couple on date nights.

The accompanying workbook features teaching highlights and articles as well as group discussion questions, date night discussion questions for couples, and date night ideas.
