“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from
heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  – 2 Chronicles 7:14

How Can We Pray For You?

[contact-form-7 id=”2201″ title=”Prayer Request”]

Prayer Ministry is the heartbeat of the First Philippine Baptist Church (FPBC). We firmly believe in making prayer the nucleus of our church, just as God makes it the focal point of His Word. In Christ, we are confident that God our Father hears and answers prayers. We heartily invite you to join us corporately in lifting up prayer, thanksgiving and praises to our Almighty God, be it the Wednesday Prayer Meeting, Quarterly Church-wide Prayer Gathering or Prayer and Fasting events.

Our Vision

“By the grace and mercy of God, and through the empowering of the Holy Spirit, FPBC will be transformed to become a HOUSE OF PRAYER that draws people to complete humility and prayer. Individual lives will be changed into a genuine TEMPLE OF GOD and every home will be a DWELLING PLACE of the Holy Spirit through which God’s powerful presence overflows.”

Our Mission

“The mission of the FPBC Prayer Ministry is to pray, encourage and train others to pray, and to provide prayer opportunities for every member to grow intimately with God as prayer permeates in every area of the members’ lives and every aspect of the ministries of FPBC.”

Consider This:

A neighborhood child will ask you for some money so he can buy the latest video games. Will you readily give in? How about if your own son asks you for the same? Will it be easier to respond and give him the best that you can give? What do you think is the difference between the two? You got it – RELATIONSHIP. It is natural for you to respond to your son’s request because he is your child. In the same manner, it is natural for your son to ask you a favor because you are his father. God desires that we have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. If we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we become a child of God and co-heirs of His Kingdom (
). Being a child of God means that we will have a place in heaven when we die to be with our Heavenly Father for eternity. The Bible declares that you can be sure of Heaven even today.
